I found Kristy Natelborg’s story, The Easter Eggs of Faith, to be a delightful telling of the Easter story in a way that both children and adults can find relatable. I love that through the simple activity of preparing and creating eggs for an Easter egg hunt, the mother and father are able to answer their children’s questions about the story of Jesus’ last days and resurrection, making it both understandable and memorable. Each question answered is supported by its scripture reference at the bottom of the page. I especially like that the concepts of faith so beautifully shared in this story can be reinforced with your own children or grandchildren by reenacting the story together during your own hunt for The Easter Eggs of Faith.
