How to Create Your Own Easter Eggs of Faith
In my search to tie the Easter egg to the resurrection and the true meaning of Easter, the lesson in “The Easter Eggs of Faith” was born. To complete the lesson activity, you will need bleeding tissue paper.
Using a paintbrush or sponge, wet the egg with water with or without 1 tablespoon of vinegar and wrap it with strips of tissue paper. The vinegar has a twofold job: it serves as the strong smell of myrrh and brightens the color bleed on the eggs and, quite possibly, little fingers. The paper will easily fall off when the egg dries, leaving you with a beautiful colored egg. I pray that this book’s lessons will enrich your family for years to come.
I have included Scripture references at the bottom of each page. The Scripture is to encourage deeper study for older children and adults.
